The Federal Chamber of Psychotherapists (BPtK) and the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV) have set out clear recommendations: local on-premise processing meets the highest security requirements without the risks of the cloud.
„Bei der Speicherung der Daten auf einem lokalen Server zum Beispiel in der Praxis (On-premise-KI), also mit eigener Hardware, ist neben allgemeinen Sicherheitsvorkehrungen wie regelmäßigen Updates keine zusätzliche Verschlüsselung oder Anonymisierung der Daten notwendig.“Translation: “Where the data is stored on a local server, in the practice for example (on-premise AI), that is, on your own hardware, no additional encryption or anonymisation of the data is necessary beyond general security measures such as regular updates.”

Will it run on my computer?
Snelli needs a computer with enough memory, because the AI works locally: 8 GB is the minimum, and we recommend 16 GB or more.

Do I have to ask for consent?
Yes. Recording and AI-supported processing require consent.
We supply an information sheet, a consent text and detailed privacy information as templates.
What happens to the audio recording?
The audio recording is automatically deleted by the system once the transcript is created. The transcript can be saved. The decision to keep it lies with the therapist.
